Amy runs our office as Executive Assistant and Client Care Manager. Amy grew up in Washington state and has lived all over the Northwest. She has a long-standing career in customer service and management. She’s worked many years in the field of coffee and will chew your ear off on the subject if you get her started. She and her husband, Paul, have recently returned to Idaho after living two years in Oregon. They love Boise including its outdoor recreation and small-town feel.

A perfect afternoon includes taking her 5-year-old Lab/Border Collie to the river to play or time on her stand up paddle board. She also loves gardening and hanging with her husband and two dogs, Lewis and Erik.
Amy and Paul proudly share two lovely adult sons, a daughter-in-law and one grandson. Son Tyler and his wife Kym live in Vancouver, Washington with their 12 year-old-son, Porter. Son Isaiah currently lives in Denver, Colorado. Amy and Paul cross their fingers they will all move to Idaho someday!

About Cortino Garcia
Having always had a passion for prudent fiscal management and investing, Cortino married that passion to his background in coaching and education to become an independent Financial Advisor. He considers himself a personal life and business coach as he guides his clients on their journeys to lifetime success. He believes that every individual, family, or business should have the opportunity to maximize their hard-earned investment dollars while availing themselves of every tax-advantageous opportunity afforded them. As a Dave Ramsey SmartVestor financial professional, he lives by and teaches many of the same prudent financial practices Dave Ramsey espouses on his radio show, books, and classes. He is most energized when he can spend time educating clients on how to choose the best retirement vehicles, risk mitigation tools, and employer benefit plans for their needs and/or the needs of their business, while always planning for current and future tax implications.
Cortino served 10 years as an Executive on the Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Board and now serves as an Advisory Board member, and also served on the boards of the charitable Idaho Hispanic Foundation and the Idaho Women’s Business Center. He served as a race director for a local free community 5K run event for a few years and now is the head coach of the North Star Charter School Mountain Bike Team. Cortino also teaches youth and fulfills other assignments in his church congregation.
Cortino considers himself lucky to be married to the lovely Karen Jensen Garcia, who is a great foil for his ideas and professional aspirations given her education and professional experience. They have two rambunctious boys and a spirited but lovely daughter. The Garcia’s love to spend time together swimming, cycling, playing volleyball and soccer, and supporting each other at sports and church activities. They also like to take trips to visit extended family or explore this wonderful continent and play board games together. Strong work ethic is a guiding principle for Cortino and his family, so you can find him many summer weekends working with his kids or helping them in their jobs and businesses. And the Garcia family loves to read, so if you have a good book suggestion, please let Cortino know.
